Funds raised from this unique celebration will support an endowment fund for scholarships that will enable applicants\, including young\, talented musicians from the Arab world\, to participate in this iconic retreat\, and to carry Arab musical heritage into the future.\n\nFounded in 1997\, the Arabic Music Retreat is the premier Arabic music program in the United States. Held annually every summer at Mt. Holyoke College in western Massachusetts\, the week-long Retreat has introduced thousands of musicians\, educators\, composers and performers from around the world to the rich cultural heritage of Arabic music.
