SUMMARY:Arabic singing workshop with Tarek Bitar in Norwich
DESCRIPTION:Learn to sing in the maqam - Arabic scale - with Lebanese Singer and Oud player Tarek Bitar of the Baladi Blues Ensemble. Singers will be introduced to the basics of Arabic music and learn beautiful\, classic Arabian songs.\n\n \n\nThis workshop\, held in the Octagon Unitarian Chapel\, will benefit from the building's beautiful acoustics. The workshop costs £30 and tickets are available from www.norfolkorientaldance.org.uk\, by emailing norfolkorientaldance@gmail.com or by calling Miriam on 07706746750.\n\nIn the evening from 8pm the Baladi Blues Ensemble are playing a concert in the same venue with six musicians\, dance performances and free dancing for all.
