Nouf Fetaihi is one of the promising young designers in the Saudi Arabian fashion world. Known for her abaya creations, her work is admired and well sought after. Nouf’s designs have a classic, elegant style and are cut beautifully for the perfect fit. She started designing her abayas as a hobby and received so many compliments that she started her collection, which has been running successfully for the past three years since she started her business.
Although Nouf graduated with a Masters in International Commercial Law, she took a few courses at the University of the Arts in London, to focus on art, design and fashion. Her brand functions as an online business and is available to customers worldwide, although online shopping is still taking off in Saudi Arabia. With social media, she can reach her market making her designs easily accessible.
She describes her designs as being both simple and practical in styles which her clients can be comfortable and confident to wear. Her designs are unique and reflect her personality, yet she does follow color trends.
Each collection which Nouf creates is inspired be life around her; that is the culture, nature and art. She uses a variety of luxurious fabrics, depending on the design. For summer, of course, much lighter fabrics are more popular to wear, although she has many fabrics which are used for her abayas which are worn throughout the year.
Nouf also has a line of jumpers which feature in her 
Ramadan collection, AZTEC. These are comfortable and easy for the Ramadan season. She is also planning to supply boutiques and other websites with her products and is keen on custom- made designs for companies who require uniforms for their female employees.
This 25 – year old designer is sure to expand her business significantly in future, and with both her local and international clients to cater for, her designs are sure to create a buzz in the fashion industry.
