Detroit: Mashrou’ Leila Concert

Mashrou’ Leila will be in detroit for the first time ever June 4th. Mashrou’ Leila is a contemporary, alternative, queer, Lebanese band pioneering a new era of music coming out of the Middle East. Mashrou’ Leila addresses flaws of Lebanese society, queer love, war and politics with their lyrics—issues rarely discussed in mainstream Arabic music. This will be one of the most memerable shows this summer.
