Bridging the Gap: ONE Nation in East Lansing

Bridging the Gap: ONE Nation was created to form a bond between those individuals who are of Middle Eastern decent and those who are not in an effort to create a harmonious environment where each individual, no matter what their background, may be able to learn, grow, and understand better those from different cultures. The purpose is to raise awareness about the need for social change in the way that our society views those who are of Middle Eastern decent. Our goal is to bring different cultures together to learn about our similarities and grow from our differences.

This event will feature a guest speaker who will discuss some of the hotest topics related to the public perceptions surrounding Muslims and the Islamic culture and free food provided by Sultan’s!!
