Al Nakba Commemoration

The joint Nakba Committee, including representatives of Jewish Voice for Peace – San Diego, Karama, BDS San Diego, PAWA-SD and CAIR are working diligently to put together a very special multi-media Nakba program entitled “Commemorating 68 Years of Nakba”  May 14th in the Recital Room at Balboa Park 5pm – 8pm. 

The program focuses on the resilience and resurgence of the Palestinian people and will include personal testimonies, music, a short film and a talk, along with a Palestinian dinner, a mixed artwork of wall projections with poetry, and historic framed photographs of pre-1948 Palestine.   The details of the program are presented by attached flyers.
