An Evening With Maysoon Zayid

Palestinian American comedian, writer and actress Maysoon Zayid will make a special appearance at the Arab American National Museum on Saturday, May 7, to perform two comedy shows at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Zayid is celebrated as one of the first Muslim women to become a comedian in America and perform in Palestine and Jordan. She uses comedy as a way to refine disability and her presentation, If I Cancan, You Cancan, touches upon her experiences of growing up with cerebral palsy. The award-winning Zayid has become a worldwide sensation with her extraordinary ability to make her audiences smile and laugh.
