Arabesque Immersion in Boston

Two or Four days of immersing yourself in the unique Arabesque approach to Middle East dance that Yasmina Ramzy has created over 32 years.

The course includes technique discovery and drilling, music awareness, cultural history & significance, and emotional expression. Half of the day is focused on Arabesque Style dance technique with thorough feedback and the other half of the day focuses on regional Folklore, music genres, Arab nuance, studying the legends of bellydance with historical and socio-political commentary.

The first two days emphasize the foundation of Arabesque style technique. The second two days feature a more advanced level of technique as well as addressing creativity, improvisation, transitions, dynamics, and choreography construction.
