Conference in Washington – Democracy in the Arab world: The Obama Legacy and Beyond

The first annual conference titled “Democracy in the Arab World: The Obama Legacy and Beyond”, in partnership with the Center for Middle East Studies at the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies.

As the Arab world remains in a downward spiral more than five years after the Arab Spring, Arab Center Washington DC is featuring distinguished scholars and experts to critically examine the state of democracy in the Arab world, assess the factors that contributed to the failure of Arab democratic transition, and evaluate Obama’s foreign policy and legacy in the region providing recommendations to the next administration for serious promotion of Arab democracy.
