Friends Forever 5K Peace Walk and Fun Run – Bloomington, Illinois

Join us for the Friends Forever 5K Peace Walk and Fun Run –from the Moses Montefiore Temple to the Islamic Center of Bloomington-Normal.

Our 2016 delegation of 10 Jewish and Arab teens from Israel will partipate! Please join us to:

• Welcome our Friends Forever teens to central Illinois!
• Learn about an innovative, practical approach to building friendships across cultures
• Support the cause of peaceful relations in the MiddleEast and here at home–without leaving town!
• Impact the future of this young generation of future leaders
• Walk with a diverse group of local peace-making friends of Friends Forever

The event begins at the Temple parking lot with registration (walk-ups), t-shirts (for those who register by July 1), intros and announcements. Runners will start in front of the walkers and finish the Fun Run at the Tipton Trail Park entrance. Runners and walkers will walk to the Islamic Center of Bloomington-Normal on Gill Street for snacks and refreshments. Event organizers will provide shuttle transportation back to participant vehicles in the Temple parking lot.
