Harmony for Solidarity: Calling all Musicians and Poets for Peace – NY

NEW YORK: The NYC Muslim Jewish Solidarity Committee is thrilled to announce we are partnering with the legendary Nuyorican Poets Cafe to make our voices heard and call all people to challenge the hateful rhetoric that surrounds them!

One of the NYC Muslim-Jewish Solidarity Committee’s focus areas is standing up against hate. The current political climate has bombarded us with hate speech, racism, and prejudice. This event will be an anti-hate evening of musical and poetic performance.

We are looking for musicians and poets who are interested in participating. Original material that is relevant to our theme and either Western or non-Western music is welcome! We will need you to perform just a couple of pieces, not a full set.
