WASHINGTON, DC: Monday Night Open Mic! A Busboys and  Poetry Event.   For two hours audiences can expect a diverse chorus of voices and a vast array of professional spoken word performers, open mic rookies, musicians and a different host every week.

Amin “Drew” Law is a nationally touring  performance poet and writing facilitator . Amin  looks to connect his Palestinian roots and  American upbringing through art. A three-time  member of the D.C. Beltway Slam team and  current DC grand slam poetry champion. He has  performed at multiple colleges including the  University of Maryland as a part of their Tedx  talk on fearless ideas. Co-founder of the Poetry  for Gaza annual event benefiting Palestine.
